Yesterday i was tempted by Stefanka’s GuiKit Theme. It’s so delicious makes me can not just ignored it. I was stopped using ShapeShifter since i have my iMac, which is the old ShapeShifter not working with IntelMac.

New Neoffice toolbar icons
I got a little surpurise after upgraded my Neoffice installation from 2.0 to 2.1. Really excited about the new toolbar icons that has Mac style.
I have wrote about how to change the Neoffice icon theme to Crystal icon theme to make Neoffice toolbar look nicer, but now there is no need to do that anymore.
I am a bit curious, is this theme will be also included in OpenOffice for Mac? Haven’t tried the alpha release tho, too lazy to use badly broken release on my working environment.

Safari 3 New Feature
Last night (GMT +7) Steve’s One More Thing is the most shocked announcement is Safari 3 Beta that available not just for OS X users, but also for WindowsXP and Windows Vista users.
One feature that i really like on Safari 3 is resizable text-area. I think only Safari has the feature (correct me if i am wrong). The other improvement is just like in the recent WebKit build. Now, i have stylized inputs.
Looks like i am converted to Mac user since December 2005 is not a bad move after all. It was the best decision to use Mac for our main computer in Zeus Box Studio. Now we are working with severals developers who use Macs, and happy to be part of it.

FLVR 1.0 new icon
To celebrate FLVR version 1.0, we introduce new application icon. The icons is pretty self explanatory, it match the toolbar icon that i created on beta release.
I also did the black and white icons for interface. And did a little mockup up for FLVR preference^1^.
Download it at TastyApps, it’s now $15 price tag.

Scan wireless connection with WiFind
We are launching WiFind yesterday. It robustly scanning all wireless networks around you, WiFind will show you the signal strength and locked or unlocked wireless.
The Final icons is this one.
Before the radar icons, we were trying to use padlock with Airport sign on it. But apparently this is not the right direction. The icons did not explain well the purpose of WiFind.
The icons tells you it’s a network lock security kind of thing software not a wireless scanner. Then we tried this.
I like the icon. But, it is too plain and look boring. How many icons that use a loupe for scanning/searching application? There are plenty.
After i made the radar WiFi icon, i’d remembered that there is an icon that use the same concept.
That icon is Network utility, you can found it under the Utilities folder inside Application folder.
This are other little icons that sit on the your airport menu bar.

Ayune Shop's Blog Design
For almost a month I was working on Ayune Shop’s blog design. The design process was easy, because I have some very clear idea about the art directions. Choosing the color scheme for the design was never easy like in any other project. I spent hours looking for the correct color combination. Finally after looking at Kuler, and some color swatches gallery, I made the final color scheme look likess this.
The hardest part is to choose the blog platform. The blog is going to be multi-language, so the platform must be capable to make section based language. At first I tried to use Wordpress using multi-language plug-in. From my experience using Worpress, it’s not very easy to customize. Wordpress failed, because we want to have categories on each language separately. So second, I tried using Textpattern. And, Textpattern is the winner.
This are how I customize Textpattern to make it work with Ayune Shop’s blog.
- Languange. I create section for each languange. Currently we have 2 section for English, and Bahasa Indonesia. Writer have to write two language and assign the language to correct section.
- Setting up category. I make two parent category; English and Indonesia. Each parent holds children categories.
- Index Page. I am not using TXP Article custom, I use TXP article_custom article instead to display all new post on each section.
- Plug-ins. Current i am using tru_tags and rss_admin_show_adv_opts for easier posting.
- Theme. Making theme is easy. I gave each section its own page for easier maintenance and translation, and simpler code.

Having Fun with flappie
For the last months in 2006, i were involved with Tasty Application to design the interface of a fun widget called Flappie. And in the early days of 2007, Flappie comes to live, he is flapping his wings…errr ears on Apple’s widget page.
I have tested the widget with my local weather. It works just fine, and i make flapper all day wet..haha! Nevermind the screenshot above, there is no snow in Bandung.
OK..enough talking, go download it kids.

Christmas Dolls icons
Our DSL modem wast got toasted by lighting last night. Now we are stucked with Dial-Up connection. That’s the reason why we are late to publish the Christmas Dolls icons set.
You can download the Christmas Dolls icons in our download page. There are 15 icons on the set; Bell, Black peter, Candy stick, christmas ball, christmas tree, rudolf the deer, fairy, gift box, ginger man, mistletoe, santa, snowflake, snowman, sock, and star. As usual the icons are available for Windows, Mac, and Linux (PNG files).
The icons is free for any use except selling the icons.

Christmas icons launch date
Our christmas icons will be available for download on December 21, 2006, morning (GMT +7).
We planned to make 15 icons in total. So far we have finished 7 of 15 icons. Lets hope we can make it on time :)
The icons set will have 256×256 pixels size, Vista fans have a happy holiday.
